Tuesday, April 24, 2012. To Honor and Remember. American Military Cemetery, sits on the hill over Omaha Beach. When we booked our trip to India our flight was SLC to Paris CDG airport and then connect on to New Delhi. What an opportunity! This is one of the German guns left in place. I stood next to it so it wouldn't look so big and tough. A Quick view of Omaha beach's sand and the rise at the end of the beach. This is Nicole next to the forward observation point on Point du Hoc. This picture shows how c...

http://jerandnicole.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 7, 2010. So there are a few things in life I am not good at. Sleeping at night. Exercise. Blogging. This is my second attempt at this post since I deleted the first one trying to make the photo bigger. Here it goes again. We had an enjoyable Easter weekend watching conference, even though I worked Friday night. Watching conference while sleep deprived and staying awake is a little like trying to combine oil and water. No stuffed cows were harmed in the making of this photo. Cowee. Jer an...

Friday, February 21, 2014. As I listened to the lesson the answer to "how" I managed be happy and hopeful in the face of great difficulty hit me right in the face. The answer = FORGIVENESS. As a cardiologist, I attended a conference for physicians several years ago about the importance of. I learned there of scholarly studies showing that choosing to forgive leads to better health, increased optimism, and better relationships with others. It can be difficult to find the strength to forgive, but the Savio...

http://idahograhamcrackers.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 29, 2010. The weather was cold, windy, and rainy the entire time which also makes for a tough night. The other games this week have been cancelled due to weather. (cold, snowy/sleety/rain) I am hoping for a nice warm front to move in and stay all of baseball season. Seriously, if I could have one wish right now, that is what it would be. Then we wouldn't have to dress like Ashley at all the games. Monday, April 26, 2010. And Mitchel is still on the minors. Sunday, April 25, 2010. I though...

daily grind: Temple closure
http://idahograhamcrackers.blogspot.com/2015/01/temple-closure.html
Friday, January 9, 2015. For the past 6 months I've been attending the temple every Tuesday morning. A few Sunday's ago they announced that the Idaho Falls temple will be closing for an 18 month rennovation. Almost instantly, Coleman leaned over to me and said, "yes! It's possible I need to re-teach him the blessings associated with temple worship! However, it was genuine and candid and made me smile! Out of the mouths of babes :). January 11, 2015 at 2:26 PM. daily grind: November 2012
http://idahograhamcrackers.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 19, 2012. Justin is 14 and is in the 8th grade. Last year he decided (on what seemed to be a whim to his mom) to run for student body president of his middle school. To my shock and amazement, he won! I love how he teaches me lessons of confidence and determination. He is a good student and a good leader. He loves playing basketball, texting, Facebook, and friends. He cares about other's feelings and tries to make those around him happy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life on Classic Way.
