Strathkinness Parish Church

http://strathkirk.blogspot.com/2006/04/history-church-was-involved-in-first.html

In 1860 the parish was finally separated from St. Andrews and the present Strathkinness Parish Church was built. Two churches survived until national union took place in 1929 though the canny free kirkers waited until the parish minister retired in 1935 before they gave up their separate worship.

Strathkinness Parish Church

http://strathkirk.blogspot.com/2006/04/activities-strathkinness-guild-guild.html

The final meeting of the Guild was held in April 2009. The decision to close was regretfully taken due to lack of support. The Friendship club is not a church organisation and its participants need not be church members. The church provides the use of its hall so that senior villagers can meet for recreation and tea. It has been found that the club appeals to ladies but all are welcome on Tuesday afternoons from 2 till 4pm. Phone Ethel Mudie at 01334 850295 or Elizabeth Lawson at 01334 850553.
