Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts: Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts - Part 2
http://deadbodiesbrokenhearts.blogspot.com/2008/04/part-2.html
Sunday, 6 April 2008. Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts - Part 2. Blackford got dressed. His black jumper was missing, left at the party most likely. Taking his green hoody instead, he grabbed his keys and left the flat. Gleamed under a cloudless sky. Wrapping his hoody tightly around his waste he crossed. And walked towards the entrance of Kelvingrove park. Screwing his eyes, Blackford recognised a group of people he knew and walked over. 8221; he eventually said to Colin. As he walked away, ...

TV Casualty: Dog Day Afternoon
http://tvcasual.blogspot.com/2008/12/dog-day-afternoon.html
Monday, 8 December 2008. On Saturday Sarah and I took advantage of a spectacular clear and crisp (and cold) afternoon to go explore a side of. We’d heard much about but had yet to see for ourselves. The practice of eating dog meat is one which has earned. A considerable amount of infamy in the West and with Busan’s largest dog market only four stops from our apartment, it was something we couldn’t resist seeing for ourselves. TV Casualty: August 2008
http://tvcasual.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 20 August 2008. All good in the hood. We’ve been in our new apartment for about two weeks now and I thought I’d share some of its mod cons:. Sunday, 10 August 2008. A "Swiss Folk Music Cafe" in the Pusan National University district. Skippered by the affable Mr Lee, and his grinning Setter/Spaniel “Clarinet,”. Upon entering the small space, the uniqueness of. Going there renewed in me the sense that there is something special and uplifting in the human spirit’s capacity to find and culti...

TV Casualty: September 2008
http://tvcasual.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 30 September 2008. Sarah and I have just enjoyed our Korean TV debut thanks to our participation in the school’s annual drama festival, the self-proclaimed jewel in the crown of the Kids Club Calendar and, for some, the reason behind weeks of hard work and stress. Learning any new English whatsoever doesn’t really come in to it and is pretty indicative of the Hagwon system, where the appearance of learning is almost as important as the learning itself. The day itself was a bit of a mixed bag....

Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts: Busan 2060
http://deadbodiesbrokenhearts.blogspot.com/2009/06/busan-2060.html
Tuesday, 2 June 2009. Jake Stetson stared blankly at the pile of reports on the table of his Jangsan studio apartment and sighed. Wearily, he opened the first book:. 8220;Teacher is stupid and me is kill Teacher”. Oh but how he had ranted and raved back then! The pointing, the misunderstandings, the disorganisation – the slightest thing would set him off! So, as he had done every couple of years for the last decade or so, Jake opened up a clean page in his notepad, swapped the reports for the heavy book ...

TV Casualty: November 2008
http://tvcasual.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 17 November 2008. Years down the line a psychiatrist may well ask me to visualise my special place and when he does, I’ll probably be thinking of Jagalchi Fish Market. However, while its fun to watch, the best of Jagalchi is in the eating and in this respect a number of options are on offer. An as yet untried (but no less appealing) one is right inside the market itself, where anything you buy can be gutted, cleaned and cooked for a few chun. A spicy soup eaten with rice,) there soon arrived at m...

TV Casualty: A few observations...
http://tvcasual.blogspot.com/2008/12/few-observations-ive-been-in-hermit.html
Wednesday, 3 December 2008. I’ve been in the Hermit Kingdom for four months now (over 1% of my life) so I think I’m entitled to make a few spurious and unsubstantiated observations about its People and Culture. First off, Korea is the most ethnically homogenous. Japan is not in favour. There is virtually no crime. Work is often a case of Quantity over Quality. For all the reasons mentioned above, workers rights are non-existent. And Confuscus has a lot to answer for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts: A Divine Intervention
http://deadbodiesbrokenhearts.blogspot.com/2009/06/divine-intervention.html
Tuesday, 2 June 2009. 8220;Boys will be boys,” she sighed, eying me curiously as she picked up the fragments, but after mildly chastising us for playing football indoors, St Dominic was packed away without another word. I was free, or so I thought. Before I could decide however, the executor called out my name and my inheritance was handed to me. To my horror, I discovered it was none other than St Dominic, completely refurbished and reframed! How, I wondered, was I going to dispose of him this time?

Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts: April 2008
http://deadbodiesbrokenhearts.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 6 April 2008. Dead bodies weigh heavier than broken hearts - Part 1. The brunette pushed past him and straight into the bedroom. 8220;Jenny didn’t come home last night.” she stated, matter of fact, her back to him as she surveyed the gloomy room. Blackford steadied himself against the door frame. 8220;So when did you last see her? 8221; She replied, her tone almost accusatory. Blackford took a guess “At the party, isn’t it a bit early for the third degree? 8220;I called this morning,” she r...
