Thursday, April 7, 2011. Even though they are few and far between, it's always such a treat to spend time with my precious friends/roomies from college! We joke about how before (before kids, that is :) we would plan a get-together at least once a season for an entire weekend (either shopping in Bham, at the beach or hanging out at the lake). Now, since there are 8 (about to be 9) kids between us, we do good getting together once a year. and it's usually just for lunch! Unity Run and Cousin Bday Party.

I can't begin to tell you how excited Georgia was and according to daddy, she had the BEST time! They ate dinner at the Country Club with a group of friends and then danced the night away. We met all at the princess at the castle, but liked Ariel the best because she was an Auburn fan (and we think Alumni even though she couldn't say :). The birthday girl LOVES icing! Saturday, December 11, 2010. Georgia had her first dance recital today (it wasn't "officially" a recital. that comes in May). It was mainly an opportunity for parents and grandparents to see a glimpse of what the girls have been learning in ballet. It was short and sweet, but a precious time for us to see our baby girl perform on stage. She did great! Don’t we all love MetaLink. Oracle’s replacement for Siebel SupportWeb? Judging from everyone I’ve spoken to, the answer’s a resounding ‘No’! Systems who can’t cope with the “simple” differences between Siebel 6 and 7… A salutary lesson, perhaps :). Forgetting the comparison of the merits of the two systems, I do think it’s a shame that we now have another example of Oracle moving Siebel away from the traditional policy of eating it’s own dogfood.
