BookSnake Reviews: Book Review ~ Up in the Air by Walter Kirn
http://booksnakereviews.blogspot.com/2010/05/book-review-up-in-air-by-walter-kirn.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. Book Review Up in the Air by Walter Kirn. Up in the Air. Is not a novel that I would have picked up, had it not been for my desire to see the movie. Now, I look forward to seeing what the movie has to offer! Below, watch a 2 minute teaser for the movie, Up in the Air, starring George Clooney as Ryan Bingham. May 10, 2010 at 11:57 PM. I totally identify with your thinking on reading the book instead of seeing the movie (or at least reading the book first)! May 11, 2010 at 3:25 AM.

The Book Nook: February 2014
http://coolnmisty.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
I was so excited when I got Rose in Bloom. From the library; but somehow, it wasn't what I had expected. The charm had gone out of it for me. Now re-reading Eight Cousins. Its prequel) was so much fun. I loved reading about Rose's developing relationships with her newly found relatives in that book, but somehow, Rose in Bloom. Was much too slow paced for me. I knew what was to come and I felt the it was dragged on a bit ( I know this is probably the effect of re-reading books ). Only time will tell.

LindyLouMac's Book Reviews: Where We Belong by Catherine Ryan Hyde
http://lindyloumacbookreviews.blogspot.com/2015/05/where-we-belong-by-catherine-ryan-hyde.html
Friday, May 8, 2015. Where We Belong by Catherine Ryan Hyde. Black Swan Edition July 2014. By the time I was seven, I had twenty-two packs of playing cards. Full of grief and hardship, but still a compelling read. I recommend this novel to fans of contemporary fiction and feel that if you enjoy the style of writing of Jodi Picoult, then Catherine Ryan Hyde will probably also appeal. The Book Nook: Footsteps in the Dark
http://coolnmisty.blogspot.com/2014/01/footsteps-in-dark.html
Footsteps in the Dark. I really enjoyed this book. It was somewhat long, didn't have as much romance as I would have liked and was slow in developing; but despite all this, I enjoyed reading it. Maybe it's because I'm incurably addicted to Heyer and unconditionally love all her books. Or maybe it's because I have started reading after a year and a mystery was just what I needed! Celia thinks so when they discover a skeleton which mysteriously falls out of a hidden priest hole. View my complete profile.

The Book Nook: Anne's House of Dreams
http://coolnmisty.blogspot.com/2014/01/annes-house-of-dreams.html
Anne's House of Dreams. L M Montgomery's most beloved creation Anne. I can't say much that hasn't already been said. I love Anne and aspire to be like her; dream like her; love like her; live like her. She has always been one of the most powerful figures in literature for me due to her joyous nature and ever optimistic outlook on life. Anne's House of Dreams. What about a romance? Well, to start you off, here is one of Montgomery's flawless descriptions which hints at romance to come. Looks like fun book!

The Book Nook: Cotillion
http://coolnmisty.blogspot.com/2012/03/cotillion.html
So, I've been searching and searching for this book for months in all the old book stores and two days ago, I find it! Is my all time favorite Georgette Heyer book, and by all time I mean ALL TIME. I love the book, I love the characters, and most of all, I love the ending. Is lighter and so much sweeter than Heyer's other books. The characters seem sweet and charming, yet realistic; simple and so refreshing. There are the normal amount of absurd characters, likable characters, clever characters, ...Agath...
