Suburban Farm Biz - Microscale Farming in the Burbs
Microscale Farming in the Burbs. Our first keyhole garden was built this weekend. I had to make two trips to our local big box garden center to purchase the 12 inch paver bricks. I ended up buying a total of sixty-four bricks with 8 bricks left over from this build. The bricks cost $1.80 each so the total cost of the project was about $100 total. July 6, 2015. Four years ago today I went into the hospital at 8:30 in the morning. Four hours later Ferris was born. In the beginning he was the most serious baby we had ever met. Ryan and I constantly joked about how “this was not in the brochure.” And then he discovered how to smile and all that seriousness vanished. Today he’s four.
