Those Crazy Kyles: Clearing The Cobwebs
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2010/08/clearing-cobwebs.html
Saturday, August 28, 2010. When did we get here? Like 2 months ago? Whoops, guess I haven't been too faithful with my blog. But to be honest, we hit the ground running when we got here and really haven't stopped. School, work, and life in general has kept us pretty busy! And I think she may have even been more stubborn than me! All of August has been a scorcher. Yes, even the grass melts here! Our power bill has been crazy but there is light at the end of the tunnel. We have noticed just this week th...

Those Crazy Kyles: Field of Dreams
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2010/09/field-of-dreams.html
Sunday, September 5, 2010. Game day finally arrived! So many amazing things went on during this game I don't know where to start! The national anthem was awesome. As you can see, the whole field was lined with ROTC kids from all over holding all the flags. There was a high school horn section that played the Star Spangled Banner and it was truly magical. You could not wipe the huge grins off the heroes team as they were out on that field getting introduced. Jon Warden was a total clown during the entire ...

Those Crazy Kyles: Our Hill Country Adventure
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2012/05/our-hill-country-adventure.html
Thursday, May 10, 2012. Our Hill Country Adventure. For those of you who have never been to San Antonio, it is very flat! Anyway, we tend to miss our trees and the forests etc. that go with them. We got invited to go with two other couples (Randy works with the two guys and we actually were the ones to stand up for the other couple at their wedding a few months ago! Needless to say we had the best time! We even spent Cinco De Mayo there with a live Tejano band. I have some pictures to share with you!

Those Crazy Kyles: Insane
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2010/03/insane.html
Tuesday, March 23, 2010. That would be us! I am a little nervous about it, but then again who wouldn't be? I am sure that's why they are there, so you can get more comfortable with it before you start working in the real world. After this book is a mid term test, which incidentally isn't really in the middle of the course, it should be called more of a 3/4 term! I have seen the commercials on tv and it looked like way more than I was ready for! So we are definitely getting a little prepared for the move&...

Those Crazy Kyles: Happy Easter
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2010/04/happy-easter.html
Saturday, April 3, 2010. First and foremost we wanted to wish you all a happy Easter. Now I was told today by my realtor friend that it is offensive to say that now and that when she is working they are not allowed. They have to say "Happy Spring Celebration". Can you imagine? How crazy has it gotten that oversensitive people can't even handle a Happy Easter comment? LOL It will get easier to say no or resist but we are not there yet. So we are doing our own thing at home and having a "safe" dinner a...

Traveling on memorial day weekend! So I have to share my news about Kiko. As most of you know, he isn't the social type dog. When we walk, he alway...They ...

Those Crazy Kyles: Ice Storm
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2010/01/ice-storm.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. I can honestly say that this is the first one I have ever been through! I'm such a Cali girl. LOL. It was really interesting but I am glad that it isn't an everyday experience. One of my pictures I took today I sent into the local news station; they have a place where viewers can upload their pictures to their website. Anyway, it ended up on the newscast tonight. Cool! So since it was so cold and not a good day to go out and do anything I hibernated in my scrap room all day!

Those Crazy Kyles: A Walk In The Park
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2011/09/walk-in-park.html
Thursday, September 22, 2011. A Walk In The Park. Well well, I remembered to post in my blog! Randy is on a well deserved vacation this week and I wanted to share the pictures I took the other day when we were checking out some trails at the local park. Texas is so darn flat. I miss mountains and what they call mountains in this part of Texas are way smaller than the foothills in California! But we are spoiled I think being from Cali! By far the UGLIEST duck I have ever seen! They were huge too. Tons of ...

Those Crazy Kyles: Happy New Year
http://thosecrazykyles.blogspot.com/2011/01/happy-new-year.html
Sunday, January 2, 2011. Hello and Happy New Year! Did you all have a good celebration? He loves it out there but they needed another teaching team for the classrooms at Fort Sam Houston (closer to the house) and he was chosen for the job. So instead of teaching these kids in the field he will now be in the classroom teaching them the finer points of being an Army medic. At least his commute has dwindled down a bit. Fort Sam Houston is pretty close to us! Did everyone have a good Christmas? LOL Speaking ...
