"Water Portraits": August 2013
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. I have always been brought up to never hold on to things, to people, to situations: nothing lasts forever and ties, of whatever make or nature, can be broken a thousand times over, and over. If blood ties cannot hold, what more of friendships, love, and camaraderie? If a thing can be possessed, it can be dispossessed. I have not met such a person. Embedded up there is my obsession. What is your obsession? And therefore the medusa. Her Majesty of Pluto. Monday, August 05, 2013.

"Water Portraits": Medusa Bandwagon
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013/11/medusa-bandwagon.html
Thursday, November 21, 2013. Lasting archaic figures are lasting archaic figures. And on that note, look who just jumped onto the "Medusa Bandwagon":. My first reaction was to think, "Welcome! As if I was some president of the Medusa Appreciation Club, but Medusa has come to be such a figure of feminine power to the layman that I am not surprised that an artiste would adopt her image in the act of channeling one iconography within another. Presented by either mirror or lens.). I start my day at the offic...

"Water Portraits": January 2014
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 02, 2014. Writing progress is slow. Can't focus. Can't read. Can't wrap head around which bit of research to include. On another note, has finally managed to look through what the outside circle has been up to through Facebook.and I can say this fairly that I have been the biggest no-show of a non-friend to a bunch of people. To start I forgot birthdays. And to end, I don't feel guilty about it. Perhaps once this phD is over, I can start finding my humanity again. Her Majesty of Pluto.

Saturday, November 23, 2013. WC to the next level: 368. A quick word before I get on to a cab (AGAIN):. I understand now why phDs take a long time to write. You have to think through every paragraph and every sentence. You need to account for EVERYTHING and make sure whatever you're saying has not been said by someone else, and if it already has, you need to think about how you are going to go about adding to it. And now, home. To Skyrim, likely. And today, I was told that I have gotten FAT. I am heavily...

"Water Portraits": December 2013
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. You forget birthdays, people, the time of day. And not necessarily because you're working on your paper or doing research. Let that sink in for the moment. and, now, I think I need to stretch the olive branch to a bunch of friends and my family whom I have not been speaking to. Jen's right. PhD students are the hardest people to live with. Her Majesty of Pluto. Wednesday, December 18, 2013. I cannot, I simply. Cannot work in the office. And I hate, I simply. And for once, I do...

"Water Portraits": February 2013
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 14, 2013. Finally finished playthrough of the newest DLC for Skyrim with Melniana. The best thing about the DLC? Books, goddammit, books! Neither are my screenshots.). Reason why I love DLCs that give more books, more lore! Books are the main motif of the DLC seeing how the main quest involves quite a bit of the Black Books that the Daedric Prince of Fate and Destiny, Hermaeus Mora, left in the mortal world and how his realm in the plane of Oblivion looks like this:. Unlike Bioware's m...

"Water Portraits": March 2013
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 10, 2013. I repeat, Jariah down! One Trojan. That's all it takes. Now, Jariah's gotten a complete system overhaul after I've reinstalled the OS and motherboard. On the up side, learnt a lot about systems because for the first time ever, I dealt with the problem on my own because my brother was playing his games and he has a long enough work week already without having to deal with my little computer problem. And somewhere along the way, my gaming computer finally earned herself a name.

"Water Portraits": Exegesis Introduction Done!
http://a-509-doppelganger.blogspot.com/2013/12/exegesis-introduction-done.html
Tuesday, December 17, 2013. WC to the next level: 198. Yay for progress. And might I say, I am doing very, very badly for the daily blog thing? For a start I have been ill, for another I have also been plagued by chest pains. I have not been sleeping well and when I am not working on my exegesis, I am playing Dragon Age. Shame on me. I know. Does not stop at the end of the exegesis. Little steps, little steps. 12 Jan will come far sooner than you think. In the years that follow, as I start to pick the pi...
