Saturday, May 06, 2006. So, Jack was upstairs, supposedly taking a nap. What he was really going, though, was messing around in the bathroom. He found his hair scissors and decided to play barber shop. He made a giant mess of his hair, and the only way to save it was to buzz it all off. On the #1 setting on the buzzer. He's one step away from a razor-close shave. So here he is, with his new haircut. At least he'll be nice and cool this summer. Grampy would be proud. Posted by FarkleFamily at 11:59 AM.

Tuesday, April 04, 2006. Well we've had a new addition to the family (yes we are nuts! Her name is Mia and she is a 14 week old German shepherd/Rotweiller puppy. The kids are thrilled and Bogey is very happy to have a playmate - although she does wear him (and us) out! Mia is cute as can be, has a very sweet personality, and is quite intelligent. As with most puppies, she can be very nixy. She should be about the same size as Bogey when she is full grown. We'll post more pictures when we get them.

To make this email at least a little bit interesting I'll tell you about one thing that surprised me here. Cukoo birds really exist and they sound just like cukoo clocks. They are all over the place.
