Thursday, October 22, 2009. Our 2nd annual family trip to Tom's Farm took place this week. All 5 cousins (and us grown-ups) got to ride the hayride through the pumpkin patch, roast hot dogs and smores on the campfire, and play until every speck of daylight was gone. What a blast! Thursday, October 21, 2010. My new addiction is nail polish! Essie to be exact. In the past months I've bough so many different colors. Some of them my hubby argues look exactly the same. We all know that's not true ;-). Today I was looking at the new fall and winter collection. I absolutely 'need' a few of those colors. All things tickled pink}. October 22, 2010 at 12:23 AM. Well, life for the Lindsay's has been pretty incredibly busy for the past 2 or 3 months as you can tell from the lack of postings we have put on our blog. To say the least, we are learning to slow down in life. We need to take time for Jesus and ourselves a lot more often! You live and learn, as they say. We've taken a couple trips to the zoo, watched the boys riding the four-wheeler and playing in the yard most days, and enjoyed a couple visits from Missouri family. Friday, January 15, 2010. I have made 3 batches of these cookies in the past couple of weeks. They're the perfect mixture of cinnamon buttery sweetness, and are best right out of the oven. So I wanted to share the recipe. I usually just make a half batch for the two of us. 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp. course salt. 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temp. 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tbs. sugar. 2 tsp ground cinnamon. She has a stationery and gift business, and she's always keeping up with what's new and hip and trendy. Earlier this year she made a 7 layer door hanger.
