Although I was super excited for Dylan to meet his brother. I was dying for him to come. I missed him and knew he was super anxious to see us. My mom brought him by at 10 that morning, and it was adorable seeing him react to seeing his new little brother. He was so excited and couldn't wait to hold him and give him "chisses" (how Dylan says kisses, and no I never correct it because I think it's super cute). The next morning Chelsea from Chelsea McIntyre Photography came and did a Fresh 48 session for us!

It took a bit of digging to finally find his grave. then, once it was all cleaned off and once there was room to put his favorite treat, we stood there, for as long as we could in 10 degree weather and just sat in silence. thinking about him. wishing he was here. but grateful to know he is in a better place and to know he is watching over us. Well Dylan, we made it! You are two. can you believe it? I'm stunned. just stunned that i have a two-year-old. I am feeling such different emotions than i was when Dylan turned 1. when his first birthday came, i was sobbing, whimpering, trying to hold onto every last second of time before he turned 1. i was kind of in panic mode. Then once we said goodbye to Brett and took him back to work, Dylan and i had our own fun for a while. he got a haircut, then went down for a nap for 3 hours. Dylan, we love you!

So i run. i'm a runner now. in the words of TayTay, i never ever ever ever ( like. Thought i would ever say that sentence in my entire life. i run and i like it. i run! And this is Dylan. he is pretty much the happiest mostly smiley baby you'll ever meet. he loves socializing, laughing, being tickled, dogs, Toy Story, eating, cuddling and is always on the go. and you will never see him without a fruit snack or a goldfish in his hand. our lives would be nothing without this little muchkin. Yesterday was my photography class.it was soooo fabulous! I found what i want for Christmas this year. that thing was amazing. i got home after the class and was trying to take pictures with my lens and it was total crap. i couldn't get nearly the same results as i got with the 50mm. i need that lens!
