Saturday, July 20, 2013. Farm Fest and the Museum. This morning, we started out our day at a "Farm Fest" at a local farm in Snohomish. It wasn't very impressive, unfortunately. On the bright side though, Samantha did enjoy the time in the small hay maze, racing rubber ducks, and riding the cow train.TWICE! Thursday, February 28, 2013. A couple of weeks ago, my mom gave us some free passes to the Imagine Children's Museum. In Everett that she had received from a friend. Since those passes expired at the end of February, we got to go twice last week. Neither of us had been there before but had heard great things about it. Samantha had a blast! When you walk in, there's a treehouse with hand puppet animals inside. We climbed up the stairs by the treehouse and discovered the library (Samantha LOVES books).

Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Let me start off by saying we are not very consistent gardeners. However, let me also add - we're trying every year to improve! We're also trying to teach Samantha the fun and importance of learning to grow food. We have many, many strawberry plants in our back yard and though we lose lots of berries to bugs and such, we still get a pretty good haul. Sophisticated that she prefers the homegrown, organic variety because she couldn't get enough of the berries from our back yard.

Good, Bad, and Crazy. My way of getting it all out there. September 8, 2011. I had some awesome 1st and 2nd day of school pictures. Of course, because they were awesome, somehow about half of them got lost when I was transferring them from my camera. GRRRRR! I got a couple at least. First day of Kindergarten. 2nd day of Kindergarten and Second grade. This new school has exceptional rankings (like #2 in the state) and lots of parent involvement, which is great. I hope this isn't how my kids are feeling.
