Friday, November 29, 2013. We joined John and Liz in Oregon for Thanksgiving this year. We started out with a trip to John's lab at Oregon State University. Logan has been so excited to see John's microscopes for months! We visited the lovely Portland Temple. Had a lot of fun silly time with cousins. Looked at a zillion cute houses! Cooked a delicious turkey dinner. Visited the Tillamook cheese factory. At one point, Pearl and Stockton disappeared. We found them playing with the souvenir coin machines.

The other day he was lost, and I couldn't find him. I thought he had drowned in the ditch on irrigation day. On Logan's first day of Kindergarten, he came home and informed me that his teacher kicked him (not exactly true. she wasn't really the kicking type. more of the "amazing kindergarten teacher" type.).
