http://milesnmissy.blogspot.com/2013/10/st-petersburg-russia-day-2.html
St Petersburg, Russia (Day 2). Church of the Savior on Blood. Also known as the Church of Spilt Blood). Walking down this little canal you turn around and you see this amazing church. This was the best we could get of the outside of the Cathedral . and it is taken from the inside of our bus. I so wish we could have run across the street and gotten something better . Inside St. Isaac's Cathedral. Just outside St. Petersburg, Russia). Posted by The Laytons. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Burg Eltz Cas...

Our Family: Riga, Latvia
http://milesnmissy.blogspot.com/2013/10/riga-latvia.html
These are just some shots we took while walking around Riga trying to find the TI (tourist information center). I love the little side streets, the rod iron on the windows and the door to the Cathedral. I love all the details that are everywhere. This is the Town Hall and its square. Doesn't it remind you of It's a Small World? It's also known as the House of Blackheads. St Mary's Dome Cathedral. The square with St. Mary's Dome Cathedral to the right. Where we had lunch - it is just on the left. We had t...

What's Up With The Wennergrens. It's just an ordinary day on our journey through an extraordinary life. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Study of Ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt is one of the funnest things we've ever studied. We kicked of the unit with a trip to the King Tut exhibit in Idaho Falls. It was pretty neat, but for me personally it was a little bit of a let down knowing that they were just replicas. The rest of the family didn't know that going in, so they were VERY impressed :). We watched several m...

Our Family: Melk Abbey, Austria
http://milesnmissy.blogspot.com/2012/08/melk-abbey-austria.html
Melk Abbey, Austria. This treasure is about an hour outside of Vienna (or Wein), Austria. It was incredible! 1150 Euro per adult with a guided tour). As we were headed home we remembered this abbey or monastery off the side of the road so we decided to check it out. Turns out that this place is pretty famous and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Who knew? It was so neat to discover and explore! The ceiling here totally looks arched doesn't it? It isn't, it's all in the way they painted it - neat, huh?

I love the Ergo Carrier SO MUCH that we have 2! The Rathaus - which is the City Hall. Below are different views of St. Martin's church from the river). Posted by The Laytons.

http://whatsupwiththewennergrens.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
What's Up With The Wennergrens. It's just an ordinary day on our journey through an extraordinary life. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Dirty dishes drive me crazy! They're not a hard chore to do and everyone in the house usually helps do them. But alas- the sink seems like it's always full! As I stood there I was reminded that:. 1 A sink full of dishes means that we have enough food to eat. 2 That I am surrounded by a precious family to feed. 3 That I have a home that I can wash my dishes in.
