One of my regular readers recently pointed out that I hadn’t posted anything for some time, and wondered whether I was still flying and/or instructing. Well, the simple answer is that I would still like to fly, and do try to on occasions, but have been defeated recently by the weather, family, work, and most recently DIY. Yes, you read it correctly. D.I.Y. Oh, and sadly I no longer have a glider to fly😦.

I seem to have had more then the usual number of wave flights this year, which is great! I love flying in wave, it’s always different, and always challenging to some degree. Lunch over, the sky began to look better. More defined wave bars were developing and so I decided to give it a go. Best climb of the day – 4.5 knots, near Thirsk. Yesterday I did quite a lot of flying, in the lovely spring weather, which was great😀. There were enough students to go around, the spring weather seemed to bring everyone out of hibernation.
