Fresh Flavors: Ma's Kadhi
http://freshflavors.blogspot.com/2008/05/mas-kadhi.html
A blog from someone who is in love with flavors. A journal of my love for cooking and eating! Sunday, May 11, 2008. There are many things in my ma's cooking that I crave for almost everyday. But there is something really special about her kadhi. There have been more than several incidents when I would be thinking of ma's kadhi at work, and when I would call her the next day and happen to ask what she cooked/plans to cook for lunch - her answer would be kadhi-chawal! About 10 pakodas) -. Oil to deep fry.

Fresh Flavors: Dressed up Dhokla!
http://freshflavors.blogspot.com/2008/05/dressed-up-dhokla.html
A blog from someone who is in love with flavors. A journal of my love for cooking and eating! Saturday, May 10, 2008. It's high time I get back to my blog :) Initially I was actually occupied with worldly matters, but I don't think I have an excuse now! I've just been out of touch with my little blog world out here! Can't wait to get started again! Both are equally delicious! I have always used Gits instant mixes to make dhoklas but this time I tried making them with sooji. I got the basic recipe. Baking...

Dreams Come True: How I met your mother
http://swapnashirwalkar.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-i-met-your-mother.html
May 26, 2012. How I met your mother. You are a big girl now. On this occasion, I would like to tell you a story about two friends. I first saw her in the summer of 1993. She passed me in the school corridor. She had long hair which was neatly tugged into two braids. I wondered who the new girl was. Few days later, I came to know that the new girl had shifted into our school from Delhi. I still clearly remember the first day of college. I went well in time for the first lecture. In the college cor...I wan...

Dreams Come True: November 2007
http://swapnashirwalkar.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
November 26, 2007. Shopped till we dropped, then shopped some more. What a fantastic holiday this was. Last year, I was here for Thanksgiving, but I found the whole idea of getting up at an ungodly hour in the morning and running for deals a bit foolish. I remember we went to Kohls. At 1pm and by that time the Black Friday deals were over. I don't know what brought about the transition, but I was quite excited to do major shopping this year. For all those who don't know, Thanksgiving. Website, I came acr...

Dreams Come True: August 2011
http://swapnashirwalkar.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
August 28, 2011. 10 day challenge: Four books. Our school library also housed a good collection of books. It is through the school library that I fell in love with Nancy Drew, Famous Five, and Secret Seven. Oh! How I loved those cute gangs and their parties with cookies and lemonade. This post is about four of my favorite books. Again, it was very difficult to choose just four amongst the thousands that I have read. But still, here's an attempt:. Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. An amazing story of...
