Sweet Corn and Cairo. Monday, January 5, 2009. On the 12th Day of Christmas. Before this Season ends and a new begins, I thought I would share some images of my Christmas with you. No worries. Husband found the camp stove, a tank of propane, and got out the french press he had bought in Maine this summer, and Voila! I love that man! Yeah, he was boiling that water, and later dinner, in the freezing rain. Husband took this beautiful photo of full moon during ice storm. How cute is this? I LOVE BEING ALIVE!

When we discussed the subject on Sunday he wasn't sure of his final schedule. Kate will complete finals the following week and have one more semester (Student Teaching) before she graduates in December. June 1 - Chloe's graduation. June 28 - EJ reports to West Point. July 10 - 5oth Anniversary Party for Mom and Dad. June 1, 2010.

Friday, August 28, 2009. Chloe turned 17 today, for the first and only time! But this is my 3rd teenager to hit this mark. We had breakfast at IHOP at 6:30 AM. Thursday, July 1, 2010. Chloe and I made the trip north with EJ for R-Day (that would be Reception Day) at West Point June 28. I now only have one baby living at home. The remaining weeks will go very quickly. The trip was a long drive but I'm so glad we went. We had a really good day and made some memories. My Very Bestest Friend, Jen Duvall, made the trip from Virginia to NY with me and Chloe. We had a great visit and spent lots of quality time together. :-). Have a great July 4! June 1, 2010.

Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Good News, Bad News, Good News? The good news is - Katie does not need surgery for her thumb. New xrays this morning showed that the bone had actually moved, but to a better position. Surgery and or screws are not needed. The bad news is that she will wear a cast for 3 weeks. Can anyone say finals? Writing and washing her hair seem to be the biggest obstacles so far. The good news is the cast is pretty pink and she can still move all her fingers. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Summer is Flying By. Chloe and I have traveled in the car together over 3,600 miles since June 25, 2010. We are both getting a little tired of the van. Our trip to Myrtle Beach was wonderful. The first few days I was there it felt like spring weather. Just beautiful. I think I have a light tan for the first time in 3 years.
