Spring Bruschetta with Peas and Pancetta. This is one of my favorite recipes from my cookbook! 4 oz pancetta, cubed. Frac12; cup peas, fresh or frozen, thawed. Frac12; cup whole-milk ricotta. 12 baguette slices, toasted. Fresh basil leaves (torn if large). About 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the pancetta until golden, about 4 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Set aside. Drizzle with a little olive oil, sprinkle with some salt and pepper, and serve. Tell us about it.

A really hearty winter soup that will keep you very satisfied. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 yellow onion, chopped. 1 carrot, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1 parsnip, sliced. 2 sweet potatoes, cubed. 1 tablespoon tomato paste. 3 cups chicken stock. Salt and pepper, to taste. 2 tablespoons dill, chopped. Heat oil in a large pot. Sauté onion until soft. Add carrot, garlic, parsnip, and sweet potato. Stir well and sauté for 2 minutes. Add tomato purée and stock and stir well. Tell us about it.

Sweet Paul's Famous Feta and Lemon Dip. We all need a go to dip, mine is this lemon and feta dip I have been making for years! This recipe is from my book 'Sweet Paul Eat and Make'. This is the most blogged, tweeted, and pinned recipe I have ever created. I came up with it years ago and then forgot all about it until I was looking through an old cooking notebook of mine. It’s a surefire crowd-pleaser. 7 ounces feta cheese (about 1 cup crumbled). 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest, plus more for garnish.

Dog template (find one on Google Images or another shape of your choice). String to use to hang. Begin by glueing your fabric to your cardstock. Allow to dry completely. Download scotty dog images from Google Images. Place your templates onto your dried fabric covered cardstock. You can pin the templates into place with a pin. Cut out your dogs. Tell us about it.

Saturday, 31 May 2014. P is for Prawns. I love seafood and think it makes a great starter. This recipe is another of my standbys as the raw prawns are frozen and so can be dug out when needed. And at this time of year, I always have tomatoes and rocket around. 7 king/tiger prawns per person. 2 tblspn fresh parsley, finely chopped. 1 tblspn ground cumin. 1 tblspn ground coriander. 1 teaspn (sweet) paprika. Zest and juice of a lemon. 4 cherry tomatoes per person, cut in half. Handful of rocket per person.
