Monday, April 27, 2009. Shaelyn's Birthday at the park. We had a great time at the park! Everything seemed to work out really well! The grill and tables were available and we had a great turn out! Here is the cake that Shaelyn picked out at Costco, I tried to see if she wanted balloons or a rainbow, but she was determined to get the flower cake with red, yellow, blue, and pink flowers. So that is what we ordered. And it was yummy! Below is Shaelyn opening her presents. I think everyone had a great time!

Friday, June 19, 2009. For the past couple of months we have had a farmer's market co-op in our ward. It has been awesome. We ended up with a lot of cucumbers that I didn't think we could finish on our own and so I thought I would make an attempt at canning my own pickles. Was a big help! Cucumbers in the bottle. Now the added spices. Add boiling vinegar and water. Put the lid on and boil for about 10 minutes. 4 pounds (quarts) Cucumbers. 3 T Dill Seed. 9 heads fresh/dries dill. 18 whole black peppers.

Sunday, April 25, 2010. Taking our Circus to the Circus. Shaelyn brought home some tickets that got 2 kids per parent in free to the circus and $5 off the adult ticket. So we decided we would go and check it out. Shaelyn got to bring her friend Lilly, and they had a ball! Winston loved the animals! We saw tigers, camels, zebras, lamas, ponies, and elephants. He also couldn't stop laughing and smiling at the transition acts. So what were they? He was cracking up the whole time! Love and miss you guys!

Thursday, October 15, 2009. I had a moment this morning so I decided to sit down and actually post some kind of an update. Anyway, lately I have been asked about the biggest loser results from this summer. I just thought I would remind you where I started and how I ended officially. This was my big starting number. I hope I never see it on the scale again! And here is my official final weigh in weight. I was able to lose just over 40 pounds! Can you believe it! Thank you all for your support!

Wednesday, May 27, 2009. We Started Potty Training. I have a little boy who does NOT like change at all. So I have been dreading potty training. I just knew in my heart of hearts it wasn't going to go well. We are now day 3 into it and it has been going pretty well, what a surprise. We have only had 2 accidents. Sunday, April 04, 2010. Happy Easter and I can't believe she is 6! Happy Easter to everyone! I am so excited that we get to have both conference and Easter on the same day! This morning I made some Cinnamon Rings (Conference Tradition) and we went and delivered some to some families and friends who have helped us out over the past couple of months. Anyway, so on the 24 th. I can't believe it! She has grown up so much! Below is a picture of her a couple days after she was born. No more serious pictures.

Sunday, July 26, 2009. The Road to Hana. The first stop on the road to Hana is Twin Falls. There was a nice trickle of a waterfall and a shallow swimming area. I was waiting to go swimming in the 7 pools at the end of the road to Hana. I thought this tree was pretty cool, it looks like it is holding up the cliff above. We knew we wanted to go to Washington DC before we left the East Coast and we were running out of time because we wanted to go before the baby came and not be stuck 4 hours away and go into labor.
