Beliau mentafsirkn pengurusan bilik darjah sebagai organisasi dan kawalan guru ke atas tingkah laku, pergerakan serta interaksi murid semasa pembelajaran berlangsung supaya pengajaran dapat dilaksanakan dengan berkesan. Alberto and Troutman (1986). Pengurusan bilik darjah boleh didefinisikan sebagai kemahiran guru menguruskan masa, ruang, sumber pembelajaran, peranan dan tngkah laku murid dalam menyediakan suatu iklim yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran.
