Category Archives: Bars and Restaurants. St Stefanus at The Perch. July 6, 2014. Last week we went out to a late breakfast/early lunch at The Perch. Our local crêperie par excellence. I hadn’t been by for a while, and although I was probably headed towards a cup of strong tea with my crêpe or maybe an espresso concoction, as my eye wandered over the short wine list chalked on the board I noticed their only beer offering: St. Stefanus Blonde Ale. Taste This Beer!!!: Hefeweizen by Tailgate Beer
http://tastethisbeer.blogspot.com/2013/07/hefeweizen-by-tailgate-beer.html
Sunday, July 21, 2013. Hefeweizen by Tailgate Beer. Style: American Wheat Ale, ABV 5.0%, 12oz Can. This beer goes down smooth with a mellow citrus flavor and a light mouthfeel. It's color orange and slightly darker than I'm use to but it has a nice haze with no settlement. The head is white and foamy but doesn't have long retention. Overall I think this is a perfect beer for tailgating, camping, or just hanging in the back yard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Want to learn a secret?

Hello craft addicts. Yes, I am still alive and I still love beer. The thing is- beer blogging pays nothing (at least for me). No cash. No beer. Zilch. In other words, I only blog when I am bored. Two jobs have kept me busy, but I did get a trip to NYC out of it. I was able to visit Blind Tiger. And several other notable beer bars. I have been in and out of the loop, so hopefully I am not forgetting anything. For starters, Turtle Anarchy. Speaking of Mike, Derrick Morse. Is now in distribution. His first ...
