Thomas' Plant-Related Blog. On plant science. Mostly. Salamander embryos go green. I found out today that some salamander embryos have symbiotic algae. The algae use the salamander’s waste products as fertiliser, and the baby salamander (probably) benefits from the oxygen they produce by photosynthesising. Saturday, February 13, 2010. These little bejeweled cases might look strange, but they're incredible. No, they're not some kind of special modern art. They're incredible because they're made. I'm not much of a bug lover, but this is simply one of the coolest things I've ever seen (in a totally-bio-nerdy kind of way). Hubert Duprat. A french artist, had the genius if not a little out there idea to turn caddisfly. I think it's just incredible. Here's a video of a larval caddisfly in bejeweling action:.

Måndag 11 maj 2015. Asien och grusgångs inspiration. Letar just nu inpiration till min Asiatiska hörna och hittar en hel del bilder på nätet. Otroligt vacker "stenbäck" ovan! Trampstenar kan vara så vackert! Övergången mellan sten och gräsmatta med den flödande tramstenarna tilltalar helt klart mig!
