Tales From Spring Cottage

Tales From Spring Cottage. Monday, 17 August 2015. This picture on the left is the view from the front of our tent towards the town. When we arrived on the Wednesday the site only had a few caravans on it. Gradually it filled up towards the weekend and emptied again on Sunday. We left on the Monday. A carousel run by electricity not steam. We also went to the coalport museum with the most beautiful china but sadly this also went out of business. The tar tunnel was quite interesting because this tunnel wa...

Tales From Spring Cottage: April 2015

http://www.talesfromspringcottage.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Tales From Spring Cottage. Sunday, 26 April 2015. Today we had a lovely day out. The sun was shining warmly and the gentle breeze was B! Y freezing. Luckily we were nicely wrapped up and we found a sheltered spot to enjoy our picnic. But where did we go? I hear you asking. Lytham Hall is where we went. I didn't know much about the hall before we went and I still don't as we didn't go inside. We just walked around the grounds. Looks like it could be an early fridge. Tiled walls inside and wire shelving.

http://www.talesfromspringcottage.blogspot.com/2015/06/unveiling-and-crowning.html

Tales From Spring Cottage. Sunday, 14 June 2015. M got up early too because he wanted to make sure the float was still ok. It had spent the night on our front. This is the side view of the float and next Saturday we' at Fleetwood Carnival so I'll get some more pictures of the float as we'll have more time being visitor rather hosts. L's retinue. I said there was rainbows everywhere. If you click on the picture to make it larger you will see the little boy's waistcoat is also rainbow. 15 June 2015 at 01:37.

~ Tales From Sri Lanka ~

Tales From Sri Lanka. Onsdag den 8. februar 2012. Sibirian cold in Cph. Lørdag den 3. december 2011. Saturday morning with a 6 am start. Maybe it is a sign of aging, or more realisticly: putting it down to the count down. I did wake up at the crack of dawn this morning (well, almost). The outcome of my early weekend rise so far: a batch of tasty, boiled chickpeas, a bit of morning exercise, mandatory morning milk tea and papaya and for some odd reason: my personal Lanka alphabet. Lrik in Lanka in 8 days.

Blog do Stark

Edgard riu e enfiou a camisa. Edgard evitou a porta de entrada e resolveu ir par...

Tales from St Helena

Tales from St Helena. From the Tropical Island of St Helena, somewhere in the South Atlantic Ocean. Thursday, 7 April 2011. I had initially intended doing a daily blog, but time ran away with me and I suddenty realised I only had two weeks left. I also now realise that I couldn't have done a 'daily' blog, because quite frankly, I didn't know enough about the place, the people or the politics! Donny's Bar - Friday night Sundowners. Here are some of my favourites -. Allan, Ann and Giles. To be quite honest...

Tales From St. Nicholas

Tales From St. Nicholas. From the U.S. children's magazine, 1873 through 1940. These will be posted on an irregular basis, as it takes a bit of time to assemble them in web form from the original texts. By Susan A. Brown, January 1878. As we approach the Christmas season, this little sermon about visiting may be appropriate. Most of these suggestions are as appropriate today as in 1878. Remember Benjamin Franklin's epigram: "Fish and guests stink after three days." :-). A great many different qualities a...
