Join me in my fight kicking cancer's ass one day at a time! My Toni is dying. Her bowels have stopped working. I knew this day would come, but it is still hard to grasp. I even asked Hospice if the bowels could work tomorrow. Apparently, it doesn’t work like that. So, this is now the beginning of the end stage. I am sorry, but the fight is over. I watched as she woke from a morphined sleep late last evening…she opened her eyes…looked around the room , looked at me …closed her eyes and said ” I am so disappointed , again ” …I asked why. With eyes still closed …Toni took as deep a breath as she could and said ” I keep thinking I will wake up and all of this will be gone…It all would have been a dream “. Dream a dream for Toni tonight. So how is she really?

Oh…the tears…if only tears were the weapons we needed to fight this beast … she would have been cured the day of diagnosis. We ask you to pray for a gentle breeze to lift her and her new set of wings…and then watch her fly. Back to the angry stage. Strong, smart, funny, loyal, straight shooter and just brilliant!
