Monday and Tuesday (Jan. 14-15) I'll begin my fifth chemo treatment. I met with my oncologist last week, and found out that the next two chemos are still necessary in order to make sure the cancer is as gone as it possibly could be. Unfortunately with Follicular Lymphoma this disease is very treatable, but not curable. What does that mean? It stays dormant in my body, even after a clear scan. The question is not necessarily if. It seems the better I feel, the more adventure I like to attempt. This means that last Thursday I felt really great because I went swing dancing! I think the last time I went swing dancing was at a friend's wedding in 2009. To add to the adventure, I went with a group of people I had just met that evening. Maybe that's the best way to go dancing - go with people you've never met. Then if you're really terrible you can choose not to go back. ha! It's time to dance! Hope you're having a great week!

Sunday, November 27, 2011. First Sunday of Advent. The kids are getting things that I think they'll love, rather than just trying to fill the space under the tree. I'm also really excited about Tony's gifts.but I'm not telling! After lunch, we went to Mount St. Francis for a Secular Franciscan meeting. It fell right during naptime, and of course Sophie fell asleep on the way home. In an unusual twist, she actually stayed asleep when we carried her in. It must have been a long weekend! Thursday, November 1, 2012. I've already posted a ton of pictures of the kids in Halloween costumes between the zoo and Great Wolf Lodge, but I couldn't let Halloween go by without a couple more. I had to teach class Wednesday evening, but I was home right before trick or treat time. The boys had waited for me to carve the jack-o-lantern. Okay, who am I kidding? Sophie has been determined since December that she was going to make a car and it would be a pig. That's all she's said for several months. "When will we paint my piggy car? Sunday, September 23, 2012. This weekend we were busy running all over the place with the kids. Aidan had a soccer game, and he finally got his jersey. He played a great game! Sunday, January 29, 2012. Sophie's birthday and other odds and ends. Today started Biddy Ball at St. Anthony. Thankfully, the first and second grade play together so we have respite, at least for one season. Andrew, Aidan, and Hunter are all on the same team. Andrew was excited that they started with a jump ball. And, being the Shaq of the second grade, he got to jump for it. Aidan was just excited to find that his wrist band matched his buddy's on the other team, meaning they got to guard each other.
