In which he documents the struggle to turn a tilting shophouse into a dwelling. Saturday, March 24, 2012. The 'Turkish proverb' When the house is finished, death comes. Is in fact from Buddenbrooks. And Thomas Mann either made it up or misremembered something; might as well be 'Confucius say'. It's also, however, true. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Pictures of the early stages. Peeling the "big mango": October 2011
http://jwbunny.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Goodbye to old friends. Today the world is a darker place as two of my heroes departed me. Both tragically taken from us too soon. Although both orbited totally different worlds they encapsulated the same for me. The other Steve Jobs, the absolute opposite of a heroic figure to some; especially now that Apple bestrides the world like a behemoth. Seemingly polar opposites, but to me both represent the need to never give up whatever the odds. Sunday, October 2, 2011. First out o...

Peeling the "big mango": The Devils may say…
http://jwbunny.blogspot.com/2007/04/devils-may-say.html
Sunday, April 1, 2007. The Devils may say…. My first international law firm experience came at a New York law firm that had Thai management. Saturday, March 31, 2007. The Importance of Som Tum. What is Som Tum? Som Tum is a spicy papaya salad originating in the northeast of Thailand (E-saan Region). One of our favourites Som Tum restaurants in BKK. Enjoy eating E-saan food with JW Bunny's choice.Yum Yum! Tommi is our dog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Peeling the "big mango". Peeling the "big mango": Flowered Up: Weekender
http://jwbunny.blogspot.com/2007/06/flowered-up-weekender.html
Thursday, June 28, 2007. I just encountered a significant music VDO that dates from when I was in my mid 20's and I just had to write something quick about it. The group was Flowered Up and the song was Weekender. It was a song that spoke about the nothingness I felt then and the ways I and my friends went about trying to forget what we felt inside. Click here for something more intellectual and deep about this VDO. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Peeling the "big mango". Peeling the "big mango".
