Recycled Tin Jewellery | Tangentyere Artists

Tangentyere Artists has recycled some of the abandoned everyday objects found in and around the town camps into handcrafted jewellery. An experimental workshop on jewellery making led to a young artist beginning a trend by experimenting with what she could find. Largely Louise Daniels, and her family living in one of Alice Springs’ Town Camps are driving the recycled tin jewellery making. Designed by Elegant Themes.

There was big sky, red earth, fascinating flora, a funky cafe, loads of crafty stuff, a freezing breeze every day, the most eye popping indigenous art everywhere and.beanies. Just a few favourites!
