Time Between Life: September 2007
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 20, 2007. Peru, Bolivia and San Pedro de Atacama. OK so it would appear that my last post didn't work. So it really has been a while between updates innit? I don't want to go into too much details now or else I'll be writing for days. I'll let the pictures tell most of it but here's in brief. What I've been up to. Not long after I came back from Valparaiso Esther arrived. It was around the 12/08, and it took about 24 hours for her to be in bed sick with some hideous. Can make you gag.

Time Between Life: March 2009
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. Some mornings are better than others. I had two of those days last weekend. Let me tell you about one of them. Saturday's manifest looked like it was going to be an easy run. Three pick ups and the first one wasn't till 7:50am - sweet, sleep in! But as I'm getting my gear together the night before I get a message saying there is one more to get at from the Grace hotel. Easy. Still get a sleep in. Bus - hop on in with your massive overpriced baby accessory. Big mistake. To get in...

Time Between Life: April 2008
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2008. Rain Rain go away. It just rains and rains and rains. Last week driving up to the Hunter there was so much water everywhere, all the creeks had burst their banks, sheets of water covered fields and more than once driving was impaired. By lack of visibility. From all the rain. It's stopped now though. And not a moment to soon. It feels like months since I've been on a big ride and I miss it. The rain has stopped and there are no more excuses for staying in bed. Well FUCK You Too!

Sunday, October 14, 2007. Panamerican - The Longest Highway in the World. Keeping up the blogg. When spending big chunks of time on the road is proving. Tricky. On the road there is so much I want to remember. To share later but I don't want to look down to write and maybe miss something while. I think the photos tell the story better anyway. Sign to remind you. And you also don't go more than a few kilometers without having to pay a bloody toll! Sign dad wanted to stop. And every time. Pop (like a Mitsu...

Time Between Life: Silliness
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2008/12/silliness.html
Wednesday, December 03, 2008. Who would have thought there is so much garlic butter in Japanese cooking? Or that breast can be used to catch raw eggs? Did you know soup pot's will keep cool even when filled with puke? And veranda roofs look beautiful as you heave a night's worth of tequila down on to them form two floors up. Guitar Hero is indeed the coolest game ever - maybe because it really does keep you rocking all night long. The best natural upper I've felt in years. View my complete profile.

Time Between Life: May 2008

Monday, May 19, 2008. Running Low on Patience. My patience levels are running low. They are never high at the best of times but right now they are being pushed to extremes. I find one of the hardest things to deal with is knowing the difference between me being unreasonable and when he is. When am I being a sook. And when is he just asking too much? Is it too much to ask that he calls me when he says he will? At least he texted. And what about the fact we still don't have a date for moving in together?

Time Between Life: November 2007
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 10, 2007. After much soul searching and meditation my Viejito and I are finally facing the same direction. He loves me, I love him, and we are going to do what it takes to be together. I don't know what this will mean in practice. Does he want us to live together? Do I want that? When and how will he tell Jan and Blake about us? How will they react and what will we go through to get to the other side of this? Time will tell if it was worth it. For now I have to trust my instincts.

Time Between Life: January 2008
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 08, 2008. Home Again - Sydney. I was expecting the post holiday blues to hit me soon after arriving back from Chile, but I think I've been spared. In part I'm sure it's cos I've been working every opportunity. I can and thus haven't had time to even scratch myself. Partly I think it's cos I'm happy with my Viejito. And I love having friends around me here. Lance with his eccentricities. And his boyish tinkerings. He stayed up playing with my scooter the other night and when I rode her th...

Time Between Life: The Wind Changed
http://scootergirlfly.blogspot.com/2008/12/wind-changed.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Sydney in December is full of hot sultry days that bear down on you with the intense weight of megalitres of water suspended in the air, just waiting to turn oppressive humidity into bucketing rain in a wisp of a breeze. The pressure builds up headaches, grumpiness, discomfort, intollerance, impatience, tears, sadness, loneliness. or something like that. It's more than just "being in love". "Being in love" a feeling that comes and goes and wanes with time. What we have...Sydne...
