Watching the creative process | Tangled Fleece
https://tangledfleece.wordpress.com/2012/04/21/517
Watching the creative process. April 21, 2012. When young kids first tackle the art process it’s all about the process. I love it. It’s what I love about creativity and art. I personally also love the feeling of accomplishment and mastery, but 2 year olds would rather peel the paper off crayons and put them back in the container. I love showing toddlers the basic steps of a task and then watching them practice and learn about the new experience. Wet the brush in water. Drip water into the watercolor paint.

July 11, 2012. Yah, I’m not pregnant right now (this was almost three years ago now) but I like this photo with the belly and the stripes and I just couldn’t come up with another stripy picture. Blogging without an image just isn’t for me. Here’s to knitted stripes and thinking about cooler weather. By Signe S. Simonsen. By Carrie Bostick Hoge. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. September 4, 2012. I thought that if I loved my baby, and wore her in a sling, and slept with her at night, and inticipated troubling transitions, and used positive reinforcement, and talked with her respectfully…. I don’t have any eloquent words to describe why it’s worth it and why I love being a parent and why I think we just might need one more baby. But it is. It’s worth it. I love so much about staying home but I think I need something else in addition to maintain my balance. I’ve been fe...You are...
Something to love | Tangled Fleece

April 12, 2012. So in an effort to move Little Bear closer and closer to sleeping alone at night and for longer stretches (our pediatrician is good at concealing that surprised look that says, “your baby still wakes up 5 times at night? 8221;) I have been sewing little things for the little one to love. Transitional objects you might call them. But for now this is the plan:. Be more consistent with our sleep routine. The popsicle fabric is Poplin. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Floors: Bath ~ Like Jersey
http://likejersey.blogspot.com/2008/09/floors-bath.html
September 16, 2008. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. This picture is from before we removed most of the rotted sub-floor and wall. There just wasn't anything there. My dad helped us out with fixing the floor with bondo, a 2x8 and some chip board. After the sub-floor was structurally sound, a layer of cement board and ceramic tile went down. We went with the octagon and dot Dal tile. To do this since we could only work Sunday-Tuesday nights or Saturday day. September 22, 2008 at 8:13 PM. The one thing we did ...
Julie Knoblock: Sewing & Knitting for Stevie
http://julieknoblock.blogspot.com/2009/09/sewing-knitting-for-stevie.html
Wednesday, September 02, 2009. Sewing and Knitting for Stevie. I have been meaning to post these new creations for a while now. The first creation is a dress from a pattern from Ottobre magazine. The first is a picture of the dress in the magazine, but I kind of had different ideas for it, inspired by some cute fabric I had already in my stash. I am a bit of a novice when it comes to sewing clothes, so I do admit that I had some help from my Mum. Thanks Mum! Knit fabrics are not. I got her in the end!

In the yellow house. Newer posts →. September 3, 2009. I think they will be the diaper bag pick for going out on the town with baby. And I think this print is sort of a sophisticated cute, I would have bought this fabric sans baby. Of course we have many more less fancy burp cloths and rags to use for the many absorbency needs we anticipate too. The opposite side is a really nice cotton terry, it’s so very soft. August 28, 2009. And Metro only has 15 colors. This is really the only designated. In our apa...
