SueLynn Designs: Owl Party quilt
http://suelynndesigns.blogspot.com/2012/03/owl-party-quilt.html
Sunday, March 4, 2012. This is the newest pattern I am working on. I have the pattern almost ready for testing. What do you think? I love scrapy quilts. It was fun finding three related pieces for each owl. I have just a little of the pansy print left. It is so happy looking. The body fabric is acually a scale print I bought to make dragons from, but it looks great here. I love the paisley print for the belly, and the wings are from a scrap of ocean print fabric I had. Labels: freezer paper applique.

SueLynn Designs: February 2012
http://suelynndesigns.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. I spent yesterday working on a quick Valentine's Day wallhanging. This is the way I designed it in EQ6:. Here is the top I made. I haven't had time to quilt it yet. I decided to use the same red for "spacers" to make up each row. I used white to border the 4 corner blocks and then sewed on the borders. Then, using a small paint brush, run a line of starch around the curve on the seam allowance. For tight inside curves, clip the curves as needed, paint with starch and use the tip...

SueLynn Designs: October 2011
http://suelynndesigns.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 20, 2011. I am working on a new pattern I call Annie's Dance. Each block has a central square that is paper pieced in 4 sections, and 4 triangles that are also paper pieced. It is a little tricky with Y seams, but not too hard. I have the first version here:. This is a quilt with 9 12-inch blocks and 5 inch borders. I am going to do another one with 16-inch blocks to see how that looks. Links to this post. I have a new pattern available at Quiltwoman.com. Winter geese. Links to this post.

SueLynn Designs: April 2014
http://suelynndesigns.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 7, 2014. Hi all. I have been absent for a couple of years. I was not designing and just let my blogs slide. I thought I could charge about $5 each and list them on ETSY or some other pattern outlets as PDF downloads. When I finally get the top quilted I could change out the old picture for the quilted one. Does this sound like something any of you would be interested in? I have more ideas than time to work on them and this way I could get to more of the fun stuff! Links to this post.
