Angie is glad to be part of such a great dance team. As well as enjoying dancing she likes sculpture, art and especially beer festivals! Ann has been dancing since she was three years old when she joined a ballet school and has continued with tap dancing as an adult and then joined Tanglefoot in May 2002, since when she has had an absolutely fabulous time with a great crowd of friends. Unfortunatley will be not dancing at the Penny Farthing Micro Ale House, Crayford for their 2nd anniversary of opening due to injury. Hailsham Festival of Arts and Culture. Tanglefoot will be dancing at Hailsham Festival of Arts and Culture Americana evening on Sat 17th Sept. We will be dancing at Tenterden Folk Festival in the big tent from 10 am onwards throughout the day. Sweeps Festival, Rochester. Tanglefoot will be dancing at the Good Intent PH on Sunday 1st May, at 6 pm as part of Sweeps Festival.

Our dances are all named after the tunes we play. Most of them are traditional only very rarely do we use anything modern. On the other hand all our dances are completely original as they are choreographed by our dance director, Jude. Some of our dances are performed without any music, A Capella. This is to show off the sounds of our feet. The following is a list of the dances we perform. Pick a Bale of Cotton. Cricket on the Hearth. Turkey in the Straw. Walking in my Sleep. Raquo; June 2010 update. We’ve been out to dance for a couple of festivals now – Rochester Sweeps Festival in May and this past weekend we were at Wimborne Folk Festival where the sun shone both days – what a contrast to the cold wet weekend for Sweeps! We did have a lovely time at Sweeps – as usual we danced at the Beer Festival behind the Gordon House Hotel and had a good audience on both Saturday and Sunday – and thanks to Nigel for the great beers! Hello, I'm Tanglefoot the Terrier! I am now blind so am having trouble updating my website. My master is now 'taking dictation' so I hope to keep you up to date with my diary as best I can. I might be blind but it has not stopped me being a terrier. I can still 'go ratting' in the compost heap and have a great time digging, getting dirty and really smelly.
