Considering that the mantra is cricket these days with the concluding World Cup Matches and the 51 day IPL at the anvil, It seems inappropriate if there is no post on Cricket…. Does Cricket have more value than all the glossover by the media, the brand ambasssodors, BCCI and its clout and of course the billions of people for whom cricket is religion? Looking at it more closely, I think it does. Of the strategy and the agility. Cricket is...

My page on the big broad blog network. Has Indian democracy reached the Tipping Point? This is a pertinent question that arises this election year. The symptoms are all there, the record voter turnouts, high decibel pitches, record low stoops by candidates, an influx of middle class nominations and a lot of youth participation. Now the big question is, will there be leaders who can ensure a smooth change over? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Digs on Current Events. View my complete profile. Anyways I'm a sim...

My page on the big broad blog network. Life sometimes is like being a monkey in the matser's hands. something like those impromptu circus that is seen in thouse myriad cross roads and junctions in Indian villages and small towns. The monkey does various tricks depending on its masters instructions. It may laugh, cry and all the other gimmicks which entertain people and then the master's mood may change suddenly and the monkey would scurry of from his vicinity, to be away from the wrath of its master.

Ofcourse it is wise to quit while you are doing well rather than being forcefully retired. But then lets leave the brain work to him. He has been playing cricket since the age of 16, literally all his life has been dedicated to his profession so just let him be. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Digs on Current Events.
