Gratitude | teachingintegus

https://teachingintegus.wordpress.com/2015/11/29/gratitude

Going BOLDLY for Him. November 29, 2015. November 30, 2015. Traditions are one of my favorite things! That is one reason why I love the holidays and Thanksgiving is my personal favorite! At the same time, I also thought I want to be back in the States with those I love. Why should I try to plan a future when God has a better one planned for me? After laying down my future before the Lord, I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders! He is a good father and I trust His plans for my life. Turkey Trot with Kim!

3 weeks Post-Op | A Catalyst For Growth

https://acatalystforgrowth.wordpress.com/2015/07/08/3-weeks-post-op

A Catalyst For Growth. Skip to primary content. July 8, 2015. Today marks 3 weeks post-op. It feels like it has been an eternity, but at the same time, has flown by. Hopefully time starts to fly faster so I will be back on my feet soon. But until then, I will share my reflections along the way…. Single leg ninja balancing abilities come out of no where. Packing becomes a lot easier when you can only wear shorts, dresses, or skirts over the boot and only need the right shoe. This entry was posted in Blog.

Adam Archer's Amazing African Adventure

Adam Archer's Amazing African Adventure. As I sit preparing my lessons for the upcoming week, it strikes me how different the neccesary skill sets are for success in Tanzania and here in America. Posted 1 year ago. This was a fun day! We decided that a hands on experience was the way to go. We wrote out a note on a small piece of paper and Terry took it to the road, maybe 200 yards away. Teaching in Tennis Shoes

Teaching in Tennis Shoes. A glance into a teacher's life. Habit of the Week. August 8, 2014. Habit of the Week. I think it is so important to teach children good manners. Manners and good habits are a life skill that so many children don’t get at home. So many students come to school everyday without every being taught any good habits. For years I have tried to tell students what isn’t appropriate as they are doing it, but it is in one ear and out the other. Comments are always welcome. August 8, 2014.
