Teen Mustang Challenge: June 2011
http://teenmustangchallenge.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 24, 2011. June 24, 2011. First trip off campus. Today we took Faith to a friend's home to give her the experience of loading and traveling as well as a chance to see some new obstacles. She rode nice and quiet the entire way to The Horse Barn and home. Faith and Gabrielle pick their way through the trail mound. Faith was very careful with her steps and sure footed. She was consistent and kept moving forward. The tires were a similar story. Faith worked to figure out what Gabrielle wanted.

Saturday, June 26, 2010. June 26, 2010. Wow oh wow. Jet is awesome and gorgeous. His coat is beginning to shine. He has been on his supplements for a week and G is brushing him daily. I am sure both are contributing to the great coat he is sporting these days. Thursday, June 24, 2010. June 23, 2010. Today was quite a busy day for G and Jet. G has been working this week with a local instructor as her assistant during her horse camp each morning. Many of the girls saw the newspaper article on G and Jet...

Monday, September 5, 2011. September 5, 2011. The goal of the whole mustang challenge was to help Faith get a home of her own and it looks like that is going to happen after all. This will be a wonderful ending for the training and preparation that Gabrielle has done with Faith, but a fantastic beginning with her new family. I will keep you all posted until we can post a final picture of Faith with her new family. Friday, September 2, 2011. September 2, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My teenage daught...

Thursday, August 25, 2011. August 25, 2011. Teen Mustang Challenge Bound. The competition is close at hand and soon we will find out if all the hard work Gabrielle has put into Faith will bring fruit. If I can read Gabrielle correctly her top goal and priority was to start Faith with solid basics and fantastic horsmanship and to find the best home for Faith that she could possibly find. (I know she has accomplished the first part). Until then . . . . happy trails. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Teen Mustang Challenge: October 23, 2011
http://teenmustangchallenge.blogspot.com/2011/10/october-22-2011.html
Sunday, October 23, 2011. October 23, 2011. This morning started early. Gabrielle got up early and completely brushed Faith all over. Faith has a great winter coat coming in thick and woolly. It has served her well here but she may not need as much in her new home in Corvallis, Oregon. She will be there by the day's end. Faith is a family horse, but the idea is for Birdy and Faith to be able to grow up together. This was Gabrielle's wish from the beginning of the Teen Mustang Challenge; for her horse...
