July 7, 2015. A belated and short post re the slalom this last weekend. 2 full days of racing. Thanks for the paddlers attending and the those who volunteered to judge and those club members who helped run the event. July 3, 2015. Course is up and now awaiting the arrival of the paddlers. As mentioned previously the site will be closed for general paddling. Those members coming to assist in the running of the event if you can please lift share as we have a big entry and parking will be at a premium.

什麼是「生蛇」？ 12300;生蛇」是花名，正確名稱是帶狀庖疹， 是一種由水痘帶狀庖疹病毒引起的傳染病。這種病毒也可引起水痘。 出過水痘後，身體雖然有免疫力抗體。但病毒也會在神經細胞內潛伏，免疫系統不能察覺它的存在，雙安無時數十年。到身體弱了時，它便發作，引起帶狀病疹。 最常見腰、胸、背的表皮神經線受感染。有時可感染手、腳、面等。每次發作，通常是一條神經線受感染，所以是只會是身體的左邊或右邊。 受感染的部位首先會出現痕癢或微痛的疹，然後成水庖，再蔓延至帶狀，然後水庖潰破或萎縮，乾傳後結痂。為期十數天，但之後的神經線痛可持續三星期。 12300;生蛇」危險嗎？ 很不多人用字面推想，以為生蛇如果繞過全身便會有死。這只是誤會，「生蛇」只是形容其形狀，與蛇完全無關。 如果「生蛇」的部位是面部，凡其是前額，它可以感染眼角膜，繼而引至失明。 如何處理「生蛇」？ 應該看醫生以確定是「生蛇」，及檢查清楚有沒有其他潛伏的病。醫生會開又抗病毒劑Acyclovir，及其他藥膏或藥水，及止痛藥。 在患處塗上藥膏或藥水，每天三次，可減輕痕癢和痛楚。 如何預防「生蛇」？ 12288;到目前為止，類天泡瘡的成因還未完全...
