Knitting Storm: Crochet or Knitting
http://knittingstorm.blogspot.com/2010/09/crochet-or-knitting.html
Sunday, September 26, 2010. Have finished my crochet hat. So proud of myself. Not quite what I started out to do but hey, you can't have everything on the first go. Looks good even if I say so myself. I found it easy going but have to perfect a technique that will work for me as I try to knit the stitches sometimes. Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day. Watch this space for the new project. September 27, 2010 at 10:18 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to my blog, and my knitting storm! My cr...

Knitting Storm: September 2010
http://knittingstorm.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 27, 2010. Picture: 3 bags full. My new three bags full (of wool); not for the master, dame or boy down the lane! This wool is all mine, baby! Sunday, September 26, 2010. Made it too long so just made a turned up brim. The beauty of creating is that you can do whatever you like. I love to knit but am not so good at designing pieces. Usually take pieces from different patterns I have used and put them together, works sometime. Watch this space for the new project. Got busy and finished th...

Knitting Storm: July 2010
http://knittingstorm.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 28, 2010. One Down, One to go. Have been busy knitting up a storm. Have finished the vest for the youngest grandson, so now its onto the next one. I am very pleased with the finished result. Not the best photographer in the world but you get the idea. It is a beautiful cable and moss stick pattern and I so fell in love with with it when I first saw it that I just had to knit it. I did a double take! Now that I have had a little break its back to the knitting. Wednesday, July 21, 2010.

Up All Night: Bowtie extrodinare!
http://stayupwithme.blogspot.com/2010/06/bowtie-extrodinare.html
Sunday, June 13, 2010. Just thought I'd swish around a photo of my latest project.bowties! The one up there is the final size we decided on (note the pins), but here is the other I considered:. I followed the pattern from Prudent Baby: here. I found it really simple and easy to follow - my only lamentation that the size (6 1/4" by 5 1/4") is huge. Hers are for little boys so I assumed I'd do the big one for my Boy, and it would be fine. I ended up with about 3" on either side too big! Make room for baby!

Up All Night: April 2010
http://stayupwithme.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. Make Your Own Baby Nappy Patterns. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. I was thinking about this Big Fat Wedding Quilt (BFWQ) last night and I'd really like to plan it a bit better than the others I've done. So I thought about colours. And thought. And thought. And decided there were a few I could cross off the list. Black purple. white. And then there were a few that had to stay:. Yellow (my favourite). green (his favourite). And the others I didn't really mind. How many do you recommend?
