Random Notes From Japan. Once again, trying to keep a general blog going. Japan Earthquake March 15, 2011. Tuesday Morning, March 15, 2011. Yesterday at work we were told that there had been some damage and production issues, but from what we know no employees have been lost. Great news, but surprising. Not exactly sure if that extends to our subsidiaries who distribute our products. They are technically separate companies and therefore managed independently. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Random Notes From Japan: Tokyo Station #1 (Maruzen)
http://randomnotesfromjapan.blogspot.com/2010/09/tokyo-station-1-maruzen.html
Random Notes From Japan. Once again, trying to keep a general blog going. Tokyo Station #1 (Maruzen). Maruzen is one of the major book store chains in Japan. This store in Nihonbashi is one of the largest in the country. I think it was overtaken by the Kinokunia store in Shinjuku about a decade ago. Now Maruzen has a large bookstore on each side of Tokyo Station. This store however remains a local landmark. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Food Science Japan (Slideshow). Random Notes From Japan: Auto Shop Replaces a FamilyMart
http://randomnotesfromjapan.blogspot.com/2011/01/auto-shop-replaces-familymart.html
Random Notes From Japan. Once again, trying to keep a general blog going. Auto Shop Replaces a FamilyMart. Bouquets of flowers are often placed in front of a new store to celebrate the opening. They are usually given by associated businesses. In many areas, convenience stores are reaching saturation density. Thus the failure of this FamilyMart. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
