Ten Degrees South lodge offers a choice of guesthouse or en-suite rooms, both set within well tended gardens that house the restaurant and bar areas as well as the Sundowner platform, and sheltered seating bandas for relaxation. Guesthouse rooms are in an old 1920s Swahili dwelling with simple, elegant bedrooms decorated in a local style. There are four double rooms available and an extra single can be provided for families.

The Ten Degrees South restaurant and bar are set in lush gardens with makuti bandas to provide shade, and locations inside and outside the main garden offering bistro ambience or beach view seclusion. The main restaurant has a lively bar serving a range of local beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, and in the evenings our Sundowner platform is the perfect place to watch the sunset over Mikindani Bay while sipping a Ten Degrees Margarita. Sit and talk with the locals (be patient their English is not took good). Take a dhow (boat) trip. Pack a picnic lunch and forget the worries of land. Walk or run around the hills of Mikindani. Go diving with Eco2. Go fishing. Talk to Abdallah (one of our watchmen) and he will organise for someone to take you out. Go for bike rides.
