Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Some lovely day hikes. These photos are some highlights from several different day hikes in May. We had a lot less snow this past winter which opened up the backcountry earlier than usual and I'm okay with a longer hiking season! This photo was taken June 3rd. All north facing slopes hang onto winter snow the longest. Monday, June 1, 2015. I absolutely love hunting for morel mushrooms every spring! Except for morning our morning smoothies. Haha! Sunday, February 15, 2015. Grand Targhee with Friends. Monday, February 9, 2015. Defrosting in the Dominican Republic. A typical Teton winter can easily stretch into 8 long cold months. This is the second time we left the land of ice and snow and headed to the tropics for warmth and sunshine. It was the perfect break from the short dark and snowy days. Having a getaway to somewhere warm was exactly what my soul needed to recharge and feel rejuvenated. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino- Punta Cana.
