Creative Adventuring: December 2009
http://creativeadventuring.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Writing Adventures of an ADHD Dad and his journey toward publication. Thursday, December 31, 2009. This day is all about new years' resolutions. I've written a song where I said I wasn't planning on any more, but they aren't necessarily a bad thing if they are manageable and you stick with them. So here's one for my stack, and it's bubbling up to the top:. What foundation are the homes that we build for our families based on? Is it the shifting sands of this passing world, or the solid rock? Twas a h...

Creative Adventuring: April 2009
http://creativeadventuring.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The Writing Adventures of an ADHD Dad and his journey toward publication. Monday, April 20, 2009. When working on a New World, sometimes it's nice to know the lay of the land. And if you're going there, it's usually nice to have a map. So here's a sketch of Lynvia, such as Kyne was examining in the throne room just the other day, before heading on a Quest to the Dragon Graveyard. There are many places on the map that have not been mentioned yet, even in the two novels completed so far. Musings on the move.

Creative Adventuring: May 2010
http://creativeadventuring.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
The Writing Adventures of an ADHD Dad and his journey toward publication. Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Book Review - Buying Time. Today I'm going to take a break from my usual fodder to give you a review of a book I just finished. It's called Buying Time. By author and cartoonist Roland Mann. Here's the author's back-cover blurb:. If you had a chance to re-do part of your life, would you? Even if it meant dying earlier? Can the past be changed? Here's a snippet of the plot, and my take on the book:. Larry is...

Creative Adventuring: Book Review - DragonSpell by Donita K. Paul
http://creativeadventuring.blogspot.com/2010/11/book-review-dragonspell-by-donita-k.html
The Writing Adventures of an ADHD Dad and his journey toward publication. Friday, November 12, 2010. Book Review - DragonSpell by Donita K. Paul. By Donita K. Paul. My rating: 5 of 5 stars. DragonSpell is a gripping novel of a slave's journey to liberation and purpose. Kale Allerion is a slave girl who has just been freed to serve the Kingdom as a Finder of Dragon Eggs. Her talent for finding them leads her into trouble of all sorts, and this talent is critical to foil the plans of an evil wizard. Wordpl...

My Name is June. I Like To Cook: My amazing daughter
http://mendonfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/11/in-non-cooking-related-post-last-night.html
My Name is June. I Like To Cook. You Saw It Here (unless you read it somewhere else first). Friday, November 11, 2011. In a non-cooking related post, last night I attended my daughter's high school play performance. It was called "What I want to say, but never will" a play written by a high school English teacher. He posed three questions to teenagers:. 1 What do you want to say, but never will. 2 Who do you want to say it to? 3 Why won't you say it? Friday, November 11, 2011. View my complete profile.

My Name is June. I Like To Cook: OH, what now?
http://mendonfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/10/oh-what-now.html
My Name is June. I Like To Cook. You Saw It Here (unless you read it somewhere else first). Tuesday, October 18, 2011. OH, what now? I might be having trouble deciding what is blog worthy, now that I have decided to not limit myself to blogging about food. So here are random thoughts. Having a cleaning lady come once a month makes life worth living. I love the Pioneer Woman. She rocks. I will never be a successful food blogger. Why? I am going to be a grandmother! This is my two boys at family day for my...

My Name is June. I Like To Cook: June 2010
http://mendonfoodie.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
My Name is June. I Like To Cook. You Saw It Here (unless you read it somewhere else first). Saturday, June 26, 2010. Sometimes people like to try to shock me. They tell me their dirty little secrets. "Oh, June, I have a really easy way to grill asparagus. I spray it with Pam first and then plop it on the grill." or "Oh, you know a great way to make steak? Bake for 20 minutes at 350.". Seriously, people have actually said these things to me, and once I was served baked steaks. Really. CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP.

My Name is June. I Like To Cook: What's Not for Dinner
http://mendonfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/10/whats-not-for-dinner.html
My Name is June. I Like To Cook. You Saw It Here (unless you read it somewhere else first). Sunday, October 30, 2011. What's Not for Dinner. I've been pretty ill this past week. I'd rather not go into the grim details, but I'm hopefully on the mend now. My family will be so glad to have me back. You see, there was no dinner for three nights straight last week. Unless you count leftovers, and apparently, my husband does not. Who needs meat when you you have sweet winter squash and sage and cheese and rice?

My Name is June. I Like To Cook: Another Try
http://mendonfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/10/another-try.html
My Name is June. I Like To Cook. You Saw It Here (unless you read it somewhere else first). Thursday, October 13, 2011. It has been exactly a year since I've written a post for this blog. Why did I stop? I just don't seem to have time. It is really hard to come up with new things to talk about every day. My shtick was getting old. So, what's changed, why post after all this time? Well, nothings really changed. So, why decide to go back to blogging? Welllll, for a couple of reasons. I miss the interaction...
