Om reiser og andre gleder. Mamma Mia – in just one week we are arriving Skiathos:-). July 8, 2014. In Skiathos og Alonissos. I år reiser vi til Hellas med Ving. Nærmere bestemt en uke til Skitahos og en uke til Alonissos. Det har vært en krevende arbeidsvinter for begge voksne og i tillegg har vi pusset opp både kjøkken og stue så kravet til årets ferie var klinkende klart – “VI SKAL SLAPPE AV”! Vi gleder oss stort og inntil videre varmer vi opp med et par greske øl i sommerregnet på terrassen:-).

Om reiser og andre gleder. Sicilia – del 4 – Renting a RIB. March 18, 2013. Vi leide båt to hele dager – og det var helt topp for store og små. Kystlinjen er kuppert med bratte klipper og forholdene er ypperlig for snorkling. Ca en halvtime med båt fra Mondello er det også grotter inn i klippeveggen og det var en facinerende opplevelse å svømme inn i grotten. Og i grottekanten egnet seg ypperlig til å utfordre høydeskrekken…. En liten stopp for en matbit….fantastisk sjømat. En liten spasertur i gatene.

For første gang ble det 17. mai feiring så langt nord fra sentrale østlandsområder. Det var vakkert og sola sto oss bi hele dagen. Om reiser og andre gleder. July 16, 2014. Det ble en lang reise til Skiathos. Bokstavelig talt, “mot alle solmerker, regnet det i bøtter og spann på Skiathos. Da rullebanen er kort fikk vi ikke lov til å lande på våt bakke. Det medførte at vi måtte lande i Athen og vente til regnet ga seg. Selvfølgelig ingen ønskesituasjon, men stor takk til Ving. Og Thomas Cook airlines for god informasjon underveis! Da vi omsider ankom hotell Villa Alexis var det imidlertid vel verdt reisen! Og for et nydelig sted!

Dette var en relativt liten og “kupert” strand med blanding av sand og steingrunn. I tillegg var det en liten koselig taverna der – fikk nesten litt “Ville Vesten” følelese av å sitte her:-).
