The Aldens: June 2013

http://www.thealdensblog.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Saturday, June 15, 2013. Our SamBam is officially 3 months. How did we get so lucky to have such a happy baby? Here's a little video of his first three months.just iphone videos compiled together. I had plenty more footage but I had to set a 3-minute limit for myself. I think it's all cute but a 60-minute video might be overboard. Here are some of his favorites right now:. Ergwah" "goo" or a combination of the two. His fingers.the more he can fit in his mouth the better. Thesebut for good reason.

Tuesday, August 20, 2013. My First Lesson in Glider Aerobatic Flying. Heather and I took a quick weekend trip out to the desert to spend time with family. I made sure to take advantage of the opportunity to go fly a glider plane and log some instructional flight time. What a CRAZY ride! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Aldens: November 2013

http://www.thealdensblog.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 1, 2013. MRI, Sleep Study, and Surgery. The past couple of months have been busy, emotional and kind of a blur. We had met with Dr. Krakow at Cedars for his 4 month appointment and since he was having night sweats and some trouble breathing while sleeping, she ordered an MRI to assess his spinal cord and whether or not there was severe compression. The same waiting area reading the email I had just sent her! Slowly waking up after his MRI. Happy kiddo for now. Watching TV with daddy.

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope: January 2015

http://lookingthroughthekaleidoscope.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope. Monday, January 26, 2015. These are way late, especially considering she turns 6 in less than 2 months. She had a fun animal party with a few close friends. She wanted a Petshop party, but then went with an Elsa cake (after I had bought animal decorations). She also wanted a pinata, since Kai and Natalie had one at their birthday parties. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. The kids had a great time trunk or treating in Genola this year. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Mind On Paper.

Saturday, May 12, 2012. Happy 5th Birthday Samuel! I had a little birthday party for Samuel back in October last year. I didn't know about the rule of number of guest with number of years. Therefore, there were 7 kiddoes plus Samuel and Benjamin. However, it wasn't too bad, with the help of one of the parents who stayed and my mother-in-law, we made it work. Few months ago we had read one of Curious George's books (the pizza party); since then, he knew he wanted to do a pizza party. They all had a great ...

Saturday, March 24, 2012. 2011 Summer fun. (catch up post). A summer of lots of growing. Yes, not so much my two older boys, as much as my youngest, Daniel. This summer was full of milestones. From introducing baby cereal, and crawling, to eating table foods and running with the bonus of climbing! On the 4th of July week the kids enjoyed the neighborhood block party. There are not much little ones left in our block but the older ones still played with them. By the end of July, the newly weds uncle Tyler ...

Monday, May 7, 2012. Jevne, party of 6! I think I am ready to blog more often again. We had the surprised to find out we are expecting again! I have no clue of exact due date, since I havent gone to the OBGYN yet, but soon we will. I have so many little unfinished projects, so many in process to start. But this just adds a spice to all. Even though, I am not looking forward the all-day-vomitting for the next 3 months; I am looking forward see my belly grow because life is growing inside of me, an...We as...

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Finally I got around to summarize Christmas. I seemed sweet, fun but short. My brother-in-law Tyler, and his wife, Chelsea just arrived a week before Chritmas day. They were able to go to Samuel's preschool program. He was soo funny, not because of how he danced or smiled but because he showed his true character. 5 going on 15. This pictures says a lot. Like "really, do I have to do this? We went to the zoo and other places. Before the unwrapping madness began:. Then, we have th...

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope: School Fundraiser Fun

http://lookingthroughthekaleidoscope.blogspot.com/2014/04/school-fundraiser-fun.html

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope. Monday, April 28, 2014. At the beginning of the year the kids' school had their annual fundraiser. They all liked the bounce houses and slides the best. We were amazed that Jamal even conquered the huge one, it was the biggest one I've ever seen. I thought he'd be scared, but he didn't even flinch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://lookingthroughthekaleidoscope.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope. Monday, October 27, 2014. Every year at school there is a "reflections" art contest. Kids can enter music compositions, drawings, dance, 3D art, and photography. This year's theme was: The world would be a better place if. Natalie decided her theme would be:. The world would be a better place if, people stopped cutting down trees. I showed her a few editing techniques and then moved out of her way to let her edit them. Here are her 2 favorites:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://lookingthroughthekaleidoscope.blogspot.com/2015/02/kais-science-fair-project.html

Looking Through The Kaleidoscope. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Kai's Science Fair Project. So we forgot about the science fair 'till the last minute. I teased Kai that he would just have to turn in a cup of dirt. Instead a quick google search gave us a fun, quick idea. Kai did awesome with it. He did all the typing and I helped input the data into the graphs. Does the color of food affect whether or not we like the taste? Does it affect what people think. 6 I will have ten people do the experiment. Most ...
