Out of School Care. Out of School Care. The Balsam Nursery and Preschool also offer Out of School Care for children aged 5 – 8 years. Every school day we offer an After School Club, with the option of a member of our staff collecting children from either of the Wincanton primary schools. The club has a planned programme of activities and games to provide the children with a fun afternoon after school, as well as enabling them to continue developing a range of sills. Out of School Care. Rather than having separate rooms for different aged children, our setting consists of one large open plan room. We make maximum use of early years specific furniture to create an ideal environment where children of all ages can explore and play, as well as more secluded areas where a child can chose to play more independently.
