Montageman: A dude who writes. October 22, 2008. A Month Later…. 8212; Tags: cancer. 8212; montageman @ 6:18 am. On Friday this week, it’ll be one month since my mother passed away. Not much has occurred during this month. I have not come to terms with it yet. Not sure when I will. Everyday something happens that I wish I could tell her. Mundane shit – Laila’s babbling, Joy’s antics on. My Name Is Earl. It just doesn’t make sense. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Enter your comment here.

I don't know. I'm making this up as I go. From St. Catharines, it's Tuesday Morning! So my surgery's on Thursday. It seems like no time has passed since I was given the date, Oct. 29th. It was 42 days away then and now we're at two. I'm not sure where the time went, but I think it went somewhere good. I think I already described what they're going to do in an earlier post, so I won't go into details again. Beyond the oil there is very little. There's detritus and various floaties that go along on the...

I don't know. I'm making this up as I go. So, where was I? So last Thursday I had my surgery to repair my eye, and it was, for the most part, a success. On Wednesday Elaine's parents took us to dinner in Toronto then dropped us off at the Super 8 at Dundas and Spadina. Surprisingly really nice hotel, considering there were about 5 fishmongers within view of our room. Couldn't smell them, at least. Uh, no, not really." "Your temperature high too, you have fever! I was taken into the coldest room yet, the ...

I don't know. I'm making this up as I go. Oh, hi there. So knock on wood, kids, the end is near. A few weeks ago I went to the surgeon to get an update on my eye's condition. Rather than the customary flashing of lights in my eye and mumbling that I'd have to come back in another few months, I finally got some (somewhat) concrete answers. I am going to have a final surgery to remove the oil bubble that's in the eye, and an implant will be.implanted. People wearing bifocals do not have any idea what I'm t...

Montageman: A dude who writes. September 29, 2008. For Mom (RIP 1958-2008). 8212; Tags: eulogy. 8212; montageman @ 2:53 am. Mom, there are not proper words for me to utter right now to you. I love you immensely – we all love you immensely. You will be missed, but never forgotten. You will be thought of constantly and remembered lovingly forever. A couple of nights ago I came across a song by Warren Zevon that I thought was fitting for this moment. I’d like to read a couple lines for everyone:. Bits bytes...
