Little did I know that those doctors appointments Chris was steadily a canceling was the bigger problem! Often we go through life stressing about the things that seem BIG at the time when in actuality we won't even remember most of them a year later! I am so thankful right now! Our health is good! Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Chris is doing great! Most days are good days now. It is such a blessing! He is ready to get back to football and basketball! He rarely has to take pain meds anymore which is wonderful! After six long months our lives are pretty much back to normal! Thank you all so much for your support through this journey! Sunday, July 30, 2006. Well thank the good Lord that we are home now! Chris is happy to be at home but he is still VERY weak and nauseous. He was sent home on 14 medicines. Yuck! Chris had the surprise of his life when Shane and Paul (friends from the Louisville office) walked into the living room yesterday. He asked me "Melissa, did you give me my Ambien? He was totally shocked! Chris completed another week of radiation! It is so much easier to remain strong when you have an "Army" battling with you!

Tuesday, December 05, 2006. Happy Holidays to All! Chris is doing wonderful! This Thanksgiving our family truly had a miracle to be thankful for! God has been so wonderful to us! We were able to visit alot of friends and family over the Thanksgiving break! It was so great to see everyone. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Chris has an appointment with Dr. Kirby tomorrow. He has felt really good over the last several days. He even drove Justin and Katie to the movies! When we first got there, Chris looked to be in pain but was still smiling when he saw us. What a trooper! I amazed by Melissa and him. They are such an awesome team!
