Just another WordPress.com weblog. February 15, 2010. He’Brew Messiah Bold… I grew to love it by the 2nd bottle, S not so much. Brooklyn Lager… we both enjoyed this lager. Rogue American Ale… we bother enjoyed it. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale IPA… S really liked it, me not so much. Mojo Risin’ Double IPA… we both hated this beer. Flying Dog Tire Bite Ale… we both liked it, but wouldn’t go out of our way to buy it again. Breckenridge Raspberry Ale… so foul we thought we might die. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
Winter Warmers/Holiday Brews | The Beer Project
https://thebeerproject.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/winter-warmersholiday-brews
Just another WordPress.com weblog. February 16, 2010. This was the first year that I tried the Christmas Ale from the Great Lakes Brewing Company. I now regret every Christmas season that has gone before. Christmas Ale was a religious experience for me. I couldn’t get enough of the stuff. S did not so much care for it. I think she is insane. Actually, she did not care for any of the Holiday brews. Great Lakes Christmas Ale… G d’s own nectar. Even if I could afford it. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale…...
Weihenstephaner Sampler Pack | The Beer Project
https://thebeerproject.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/weihenstephaner-sampler-pack
Just another WordPress.com weblog. February 16, 2010. In January I purchased a sampler case of Weihenstephaner that included a really cool glass (so tall I had to adjust my shelf spacing). This purchase was made at Beverage Warehouse and I think it ran me about $15 and it included 5 beers. Weihenstapher Original… kind of weak and sort of tasted like Bud Light. Weihenstephaner Dark… was all kinds of awesome. Weihenstephaner Kristall Weissbier… was awesome, smelled good and tasted good.
Beverage Warehouse | The Beer Project
https://thebeerproject.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/beverage-warehouse
Just another WordPress.com weblog. February 16, 2010. Back in December, S’s brother asked us to be on the look-out for Troeg’s Mad Elf because it wasn’t available in his area. At that point I was still early in my Beer Project and I was only buying odd/funky beers at World Market. While World Market has a pretty good selection and allow the purchase of singles, they only had Bad Elf and not Mad Elf. I love Beverage Warehouse. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. 124; Comments RSS. It’s March already…. Posted on March 5, 2009. February came and went and I feel like I missed it. Now it is March. And I have to admit to myself and anyone who might be reading this, I do not have the Madness. I have fallen out of my morning routine of listening to Mike and Mike. Talk sports, so I have no idea who is good in college basketball. Although I am somewhat aware that Pitt. Has done well this season and are ranked pretty high going into the tournament. For the sake of S.

124; Comments RSS. Posted on December 18, 2009. So, you know how we live in a mostly Orthodox Jewish neighborhood? Well, there is at least one Reform family a couple of streets over. This is a giant, inflatible Hanukka Bear. They also have a giant menorah and a light up Star of David. 124; Leave a comment. Um, yeah, about that blog thing…. Posted on December 18, 2009. Recently though, S and I started a new hobby and last night I thought that I might like to write about it. I thought about starting a ...

124; Comments RSS. Posted on February 16, 2009. I couldn’t post right after the Superbowl because I caught a nasty computer virus. But I am back and ready to celebrate in blog form. The Steelers are the Superbowl Campions! Just like I said they would be! And James Harrison really was the MVP even if he didn’t get the nod. The whole game hinged on him and his interception. 124; Leave a comment. The Corner at NRO. Create a free website or blog at WordPress.com. Follow “My Renovations”.

The Beer Project
Friday, August 3, 2007. We had eight tasters and twenty six beers for a pretty epic evening. It also meant we each sampled just 1/8 of a beer, which really is not enough for a reasonable tasting. Also,. Wheats and hefeweizens don’t feature the same degree of variety as other beers. The ratings were more closely grouped than our stouts and IPAs and generally we had little to comment on. 26 Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat (43.2, 42). 25 Avery White Rascal (53.7, 63). 24 Widmer Hefeweizen (57.4, 38). 18 Tommykno...
