Juice fast – Days 7 & 8. I’m pretty sure that I’m not actually drinking as much juice as I should, but I’ve found that I’m drinking it slower, which makes me feel fuller. When you don’t think anyone is looking. This is a flashing wand for kids. Next to the bin, but with his back to it, was an older man in his fifties. Once I walked away, I noticed that he slowly turned – all while scanning the store with his eyes to see who was watching him pick up this kid’s toy. Ashamed? It all just reeked of hoping no one would see him. But I did. What is something that you really wanted to look at in a store but made sure no one was looking first? It was filed under honesty.

Juice fast – Day 2. So it’s day 2 and I’m going strong… except TONIGHT! My stomach really started growling once we got back from our home group. I was able to “Just Say No” to all the snacks while there. The hardest part was during dinner at home. My wonderfully supportive wife started taunting me with meatloaf! Friday, September 14, 2012. Old lady with the umbrella. Comfortably cuddled inside the bus, as it rains cats and dogs outside - I can't help but feel guilt when we just passed by a waiting shed. For a brief second, I saw a lonely lady as old as my mother, lying on the cement with only a broken umbrella to protect her.
