Happy birthday, Monkey! Our precious monkey is “8 old” today! He was up early this morning and hasn’t stopped since. His gifts: a balloon horse he has coveted on each and every grocery trip in the last few weeks, a sing-along microphone (finally, he doesn’t have to pretend), and rollerblades (just like Dom and “Sibmee”). Playing catch up…again. I just can’t seem to keep up. I’ll stop making promises to and just do what I can. This little guy scared the bejeebers out of me one day. I know, I know. I’m hopeless. I can’t help it. We’re busy. Here’s the rundown…. Thanksgiving happened. We had a few people over. It was delicious and yummy in every way possible. Sydney celebrated her eighth birthday. We had a skating party. I did not skate…duh. Steve and I went to see Dave Matthews Band when they came to Raleigh. I hadn’t seen him since college. Loved it.
