All the large animals were shyer. We heard the monkeys, saw tracks of the deer and tapir, but didn’t get to see any. You really have to get far into the jungle to find a place where they aren’t too scared. A vine you could get pure water out of. A walking tree, they will move up to two meters in five years. Pululahua | The Big Burrito

Pululahua is a volcano crater that has a small community of about 45 families living in it. I went there four a horse back riding trip. I was quite pleased with the trails we got to take. In Pululahua the roads are not very safe they get a lot of rain and are carved into ash. On the way out we passed by some people whose car had fallen off the road luckily there was enough brush that the didn’t go rolling down the mountain. March 8, 2011. 3 responses to “Pululahua”.
