Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Has it really been 9 MONTHS since my last post! All I can say is life happens and time flies! We have saved money, had 2 yard sales, received funds through our Amazon link and received donations too. We are excited about how God has been working in our lives over the past year and are so grateful for everyone's prayers and support. Monday, August 12, 2013. I love that feeling of anticipation when you know something wonderful and exciting is ahead of you! Today I turned in our first "batch" of paperwork to the adoption agency. In some ways, it seems like it has taken forever to get to this point. We decided a year ago to travel this road and to do it without going into debt. Sunday, August 26, 2012. In hindsight, it's all so clear. God's timing. God's planning. Of course, we like to do things our way, so we bulldoze ahead, thinking we know best. Now we see that God had a PERFECT plan the entire time. You see, God has different ways of making a family. This is our story:. We began our journey to start a family about 9 years ago. Just like most women, I thought I'd get pregnant because we had decided it was time. Nevermind that I was already 39 years old! Thank you SO MUCH.
